Nurse (Adhiparicharika) Eligibility: Educational Qualification
As per Annexure 3 of the corrigendum:
(1) A diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised institution, or (2) B.Sc. Nursing, or (3) Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. Registration with the Maharashtra Nursing Council under the Maharashtra Nurses Act 1966 and the Indian Nursing Council Act 1947 is required; if not yet registered, register before applying, and keep the registration renewed. Qualifications obtained through distance or open universities not meeting INC standards are not accepted.

For Nurse (Adhiparicharika), age is calculated as on 27 November 2026 (as per recruitment rules, last date of applications).
For the cadres included in the original advertisement, the maximum age is 38 years for the open category and 43 years for backward/reserved categories, with other relaxations as per rules. Cadres added later follow the age limits in their recruitment rules. In addition, the General Administration Department GR dated 5 November 2026 gives a one-year relaxation in the maximum age limit for this exam.
